ALL patients who may be Covid positive should be tested to support population monitoring as required by Public Health England.
Please also be aware that there is a service for vulnerable patients and we are keen to reach all vulnerable people in Newham.
If you think that you are Covid positive please contact 119 for testing to support population monitoring by Public Health England.
Any patient being referred to the Home Monitoring Service or the Hot Hub should be advised to be tested by 119 first.
Those patients identified as needing support with the testing process (vulnerable/ housebound/ non-English speaking patients with no support) can be booked into the EMIS PCN Covid 19 “Testing Vulnerable Patients” slots and they will receive delivery of a swab kit and telephone/ video support.
Those patients identified as needing support whilst self-isolating (due to living alone and having no immediate support) can be referred to Help Newham https://www.newham.gov.uk/helpnewham
